Banned Books Week is Sept. 23-27th!

This week is Banned Books Week! Visit the library to see our display of banned books, check out one, and fill out a book slip if you've read one. Anyone who fills out a book slip will receive a $100 Grand Bar to "pay their bail" for reading a banned book!

Rot & Ruin is crowned KING of the Gateways!

The state of Missouri voted and chose Rot & Ruin as the best book of the year for young adults.  2nd place was a tie between Rules of Attraction and Matched, and 3rd place went to Before I Fall.

Gateway Party FUN!

Yesterday we hosted the Gateway party for students who read 3 or more Gateway Nominees for the 2012-2013 school year. There were students, cupcakes, and giveaways, oh my! Fun was had by all. If you would like to participate in next year's party the only thing you need to do is start reading. The 2013-2014 Gateways are on display in the library. Students who read 3 or more will be invited to the party. Want a challenge? Read all 15! You will be rewarded!!
